Using a Corkment underlay can be used in combination with regular Marmoleum to achieve an impact sound reduction of at least 14dB (according ISO 717-2).
First the Corkment should be installed – with the jute side up – at right angles to the direction of the Marmoleum sheets. Wait one day for the adhesive to set. Then install the Marmoleum on top of the Corkment. Follow the standard installation procedures.
