Our Acoustic linoleum collections achieve lower dB values due to a special insulating layer that is connected to the linoleum sheet. In this way impact sound reduction up to 17 dB can be achieved.

Marmoleum Acoustic is a twin-layer linoleum designed to achieve an impact sound reduction of 14 dB. 

Marmoleum Decibel provides an impact sound reduction of 17 dB. This 3.5 mm thick floor consists of 2.5 mm Marmoleum Real laminated onto a 1 mm layer of polyolefine foam. 

A Corkment underlay can be used in combination with regular Marmoleum to achieve an impact sound reduction of at least 14dB.
